Water Bills
All charges for use of water are delinquent thirty (30) days after the date of the bill. A "past due" statement will be sent out on the first of every month to the customer. If the bill has not been paid by the 15th of the month, a shut-off notice will be sent to the customer. The shut-off date shall be at least ten days after the deposit in the mail of the letter giving notice of termination. A penalty of $10 plus a $4 mailing charge for each shut-off notice mailed shall be assessed on all past due bills. A $20 fee will be charged if water is shut off; a $10 fee will be charged when the water is turned back on. A $15 fee will be assessed on returned checks.
