We have 336 resistor voters in Deer Trail, Colorado.
172 Mail In Ballots and that leaves 164 to vote at the Town Hall
Total that voted with the recall is 210 and that is 63% that voted out of 336 GREAT turnout!
Congratulation to the ones that are still on the board, Mr. Hardwick and Mr. Venter also James Johnston that should be taking the place of Mr. Boyd.
I called the Town Hall and had an email sent to me of the final results of the election from the Town Clerk. Thank you. Ron Schaffer
The recall is over and the election was fair and square with the way the residents voted in Deer Trail. I just was thinking that one that is going to replace Mr. Boyd on the board is James Johnson going to go for it! Mr. Lavoie, or Mr. Sanger? Maybe Dorothy Pisel might want it?
I think I would wait another year, if I wanted to get on the board, but not me.
I tried once and that is enough for me. Polities are not my game no more!

We are saddened in the loss of Melvin Wood. Are prays are out for the family.
I was just thinking, now that Melvin Wood is no longer with us, who is going to take Melvin Wood place on the Town of Deer Trail Board membership?
Ron Schaffer prediction was right! Dorthy Pisel was appointed on the Town of Deer Trail as a Board Member May 4th, 2008, Who cares?
I am out of the policies game. Maybe get Phillip Steel in as a board member? Ron Schaffer

I would like to thank every one that supported the recall, no matter if it was Right or Wrong, Good or Bad. The residents choice was a good one and voted the way they did and I was glad it came out that way, I just hope that they all get along with each other during their term in office, Just one is on the board; Harry (Dutch) Venter will be up 2010 April.
