In 1969, Colorado House Joint Resolution No. 1025,

with the Senate and the House of Representatives concurring,

declared the first rodeo held in the world was in

Deer Trail, Colorado on July 4, 1869.

    I just looked at your web site this morning for the first time and really enjoyed it. Thought you might like a copy of the pictures I took this weekend from the helicopter rides offered at the rodeo last weekend. It would be interesting to see pictures of the rodeo grounds then and now together!!
